Mary
Dorman started her teaching career at St. Mary’s Elementary School, in Arcata,
CA., where she spent two years as a substitute teacher and two years as a
full-time teacher. She has been teaching at St. Bernard’s Elementary School for
fourteen years, seven of which she held the additional position of acting
principal/vice principal. She enjoys recreating history for her students through
events and fairs. She has also been a USABDA Ballroom Dance instructor for ten
years and an AMHA horse trainer/riding instructor for twenty-two years. She
enjoys dancing, riding her horses, singing, designing costumes for people and
horses, and she loves teaching with a passion!
