Betsy
Padilla is a first-year teacher of Honors American Literature and World
Literature/Advanced Writing. She is currently enrolled at Humboldt State
University and will have completed her BA course study in English this May. She
is also in the application process to obtain her teaching credential through
CalTeach. Ms. Padilla is a near-native of Humboldt County, having spent 17 years
in the area. She previously coached cheerleading and worked at an office
assistant at St. Bernard’s. Some of ms Padilla’s favorite things include
listening to music, taking long drives, and, of course, reading a good book.
