Ms. Albertson has been teaching art at St. Bernard’s since
2002. Prior to this, she owned an art and computer
enrichment studio in Arcata called Brushes and Bytes where
she taught art and computer classes to students ages 4
through 16. She received a BA in Studio Art from Humboldt
State University in 1997 and A Secondary Teaching
Credential in 2005. She has exhibited ceramic sculpture in
the Eureka and Arcata area and her mostly figurative and
symbolic work pays homage to classic as well as
contemporary art traditions. She has been teaching art for
8 years and brings a love of all forms of art to the
profession.
